Atlantis Runs Shadowing Programs, But Also Runs What We Call SRPs

Atlantis offers clinical shadowing and Service-Research Projects (see here for more detail on what the similar college version of this looks like) for high school students as well as (and primarily) undergraduates. Gain a competitive edge on your college applications by getting unique, international experience in healthcare before you embark on the pre-med path, especially given how crucial the early college years are.

What’s Included

All programs include housing accommodations, weekly excursions, some transportation in the city, an international health insurance plan, breakfast daily, plus some group lunches and dinners each week.

Parent Testimonial

As parents, my wife and I found that the staff at Atlantis are prompt, courteous, and well informed. They are helpful and always return our calls and email messages quite promptly. Our son thoroughly enjoyed his trip to Tomelloso, Spain and speaks very highly of this program. He enjoyed shadowing the doctors at the hospitals in [Tomelloso] […]. We highly recommend this program to all prospective medical students.

Ajay & Bonnie ChandraMorada, CA

I was lucky enough to attend Atlantis, and it was the best 22 days of my life. I was surrounded by intelligent, like-minded individuals, who shared a passion not only for medicine but for learning. In the morning I was shadowing doctors and observing amazing surgeries; then, in the afternoon and night I was immersing myself in Croatian culture. I formed lasting relationships with my fellows and my site managers that I will carry with me for the rest of the foreseeable future.

I felt so inspired and more confident in my choice to pursue medicine after completing my Atlantis program this past summer… I was lucky enough to take advantage of such an opportunity that had such a profound impact on my life.

To fully immerse myself in my field of interest while encountering a new culture, creating a professional network, and increasing my comprehensive knowledge of the medical field is likely the most impactful experience I have had.
