We Need Competent, Passionate People in Healthcare

Atlantis sends students to shadow doctors in top European hospitals, where they develop the personal competencies and unique perspectives that medical schools are actively looking for. With COVID-19, opportunities to shadow are limited, and Atlantis will set you apart as a leader in your incoming med school class.

Programs run for 1–10 weeks during academic breaks in multiple cities in Europe and the U.S. Open to all pre-health students (18+) attending college or recently graduated. Beat the rush and apply today!

In a Nutshell
   

Medical schools want 3 things: (1) healthcare exposure, (2) GPA/MCAT, and (3) AAMC competencies. When you shadow with Atlantis, you improve all 3. As a bonus, you get to do this while studying abroad during school breaks.

Compared to typical pre-health clinical experiences, Atlantis shadowing provides far greater depth, breadth, and quantity: more meaningful observation, more specialties, and more hours. Note that some elements in the above only take place in certain programs e.g. multi-country experiences only happen in multi-country programs. Also, Atlantis programs do have far greater depth, breadth, quantity of shadowing, and degree of intercultural perspective, than the vast majority of clinical experiences that premeds have; however the examples above are illustrative of why that generally is, i.e. not all Atlantis participants have seen a certain exact type of surgery.
