COVID-19 communication from our team
Since the start, an integral part of our mission has been "offering 5-star learning abroad experiences and building a worldwide network of professionals in order to enhance healthcare, learning and cultural understanding." In this critical global health crisis, we stand by our mission and aim at providing our community and partners with the best possible support.
At the moment, our international and domestic teams are working tirelessly through thousands of messages, offering solutions and advice. Our partners and students should know that we are doing everything we can to communicate directly with all of them, and that we will do so sooner (or slightly later).
We want to thank you for your trust, patience, and perseverance in working with us on our mission, and we hope and pray that you and your loved ones are safe during these times.
Our commitment to Safety
The safety of our students is one of the things we talk about most, and we are proud to say that we have never had a serious safety concern on any of our programs.
Not only are we extremely selective about placement locations to ensure a low-risk environment, but we also extensively train all of our on-program Site Managers prior to every program year. Site Managers are locals to the program site, and are available 24/7 to students, should they need assistance.
We provide each student with travel and health insurance, as well as a non-smartphone so that they will never be without the ability to call in an emergency. To learn more about best practices for safe travel, make sure to sign up for the free Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) administered by the US Department of State.
